Hey Hollywood, donne des sous à Aaron Sims please, qu’il puisse faire de ce short de 7 min un vrai film. Le scénar’ n’est pas original, mais y’a du gros potentiel quand même !

RL7 is an eight-foot tall combat robot that goes on the run after malfunctioning with vivid memories of once being human. As its creators and the military close in, RL7 battles its way to uncovering the shocking truth behind its mysterious visions and past.

Directed by Aaron Sims
starring Robert Joy (Land of the Dead, CSI:NY) and David Anders (Heros, 24).

Je vous avais présenté le teaser de ce court-métrage le mois dernier, voici la version complète ! Classe côté réalisation mais scénar’ « meh », donc déjà repéré par Hollywood…

ROSA is an epic sci-fi short film that takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where all natural life has disappeared. From the destruction awakes Rosa, a cyborg deployed from the Kernel project, mankind’s last attempt to restore the earth’s ecosystem. Rosa will soon learn that she is not the only entity that has awakened and must fight for her survival.
The short-film was created entirely by young comic-artist Jesús Orellana with no budget during a single year. Since it’s world premiere at the Seattle International Film Festival, ROSA has been an official selection at film festivals around the world such as Screamfest, Toronto After Dark, Anima Mundi or Los Angeles Shorts Film Festival. In October ROSA was screened at the opening night of the Sitges International Film Festival, considered the world’s best festival specialized in genre films. Following the succesful festival run, the short film has attracted the attention of the major talent-agencies and Hollywood producers. Currently ROSA is in development to be a live-action motion picture.

Dans la série « Bonjour, je vais vous fracasser les rétines avec mon petit film 3D fait en indépendant, pardon », Jesus Orellana devrait faire fort. Son court-métrage de moins de 10 minutes nommée ROSA sortira gratos en novembre, et vu le trailer, j’ai hâte de voir le résultat.

Wandering among the ruins of the lifeless city, Rosa will soon discover that she is not the only part of Kernel that has awakened.

1000 ans après tout le monde (la vidéo est déjà presque à 5 millions de vues là), mais il me le fallait pour les archives ! ;)

C’est donc un court-métrage basé sur Portal, réalisé par Dan Trachtenberg. A se faire avec le son à donf et en HD, of course…
